Honestly, this would piss me off worse than the Poe pick did last season. I love the Reid hire and think he can do great things for this franchise. That said, if we let Albert walk and replace him with Joekel, that would piss me off more than any single personnel decision that ***** made during his entire tenure in KC.
Jackson is the only close 2nd and that's only because you could make a convincing argument that Albert's back woes will be a career-long issue and we may be wise to move on from him now before we commit for 5 years and run the risk of putting ourselves in a bind with the contract.
It's not a very good argument, but at least it a credible one.

Yeah, if they're going to draft Joekel and try to build the OL first, why not retain Brandon Albert? Why do the Joekelites want to walk away from Albert? It's not like KC has been great at RT. Albert has positional flexibility, too... could be above-average at RT and all-pro at LG.
It's not like KC is hurting for the cap room.
Also, there's buzz that Joekel may return to Texas A&M for his senior year in an effort to win a national title, along with Matthews. Honestly, I'm kind of hoping for that.
