I 'think' it was 2004 or so - the last time I bought it new - where you would get graded on your draft; it seemed no matter what I did I always got a bad grade and fans hated me lol. Sort of like *****.
Is the ownwership mode just another fluff addition to the game?

In retrospect it was a little fluffy back in 04, but it looks like it's more meaningful this year.
