I think that's what is driving me crazy about this whole thing. Reminds me of 2 years ago when all the talk on the sports radio and other places were about Harbaugh supposedly being the new KU coach. Then the disappointment in finding out it wasn't him and instead we got Gill. Admittedly, I wasn't too negative on Gill when he was hired. But I was lukewarm, at best, on that hire.
