How about Vickers bringing a surgical machine that is only programmed for males. That one made me laugh out loud. (however there have been some interesting explanations for that…)
How about Vickers agreeing to hook up with the captain…….and not one single shot of the hook up? WTF! I wanted to see some Charlize nudity.
I think this movie will be much much much better as a directors cut. The prison planet alien movie theatrical version was a total piece of crap ….the directors cut filled in many holes. I think this may be in the same mold.
Another thought….am I the only one who thinks Scott made a multi-million dollar mistake by not shouting from the hilltops…..THIS MOVIE HAS SOMETHING TO DO WITH THE ALIEN SERIES! He didn’t. I have no doubt that many casual fans of Alien would have went to see this had they known. I mean I knew from the very first trailer….cause I’m an Alien FREAK. But if you are just casual, you haven‘t seen the original movies in a while, you wouldn’t know. I was prepared to battle the masses on opening day. Went to a 6:00 show. The theater was half empty.
I do want to see this again. I was somewhat disappointed.....but it still was pretty damn cool!
