Like the 49ers are going to accommodate that.
Alex is going to be free to shop his services, but there's no way the 49ers are cutting an asset.
He'll find a team that wants him, and then they'll work out compensation. He's not hitting the open market. They should flip the Jets a 2nd and Smith for Revis.
