There is only 2 players there were even really on the team that are major players right now and thats Kershaw, he was like a rookie and a 2nd year i think then Andre Either. This team is 8-1 in elimination games since 2011. I think they have proven that they can handle pressure. Has the Dodgers done that?
I wish we could pay $227 Million to field a team. I know it shouldn't matter to a Cardinal fan. We can afford a top ten payroll. But, still there is a huge difference between the #10 payroll and your team.
For me developing and drafting your own players, winning with your own players matters to me. I'd still take the $8 BILLION TV contract.
