Being an optimist, maybe the Royals planned this all along. Limit Tejada's playing time in the first have so he'll be fresh in the 2nd. Could have the same opinion about Chen. The dude is pitching great. But if Tejada does start to wear down, Colon is have a good run at Omaha.

The only problem is Colon is not on the 40 man roster.
