REGARDING CHIEFS:

We wanted to win. We just didn't have all the pieces to the puzzle. Here, with the Baltimore Ravens, they're always looking to add a piece to the puzzle. If you have to get a veteran guy...get a guy in the draft, we're not looking to get the best guy in the draft, we're looking to get a guy to come in and complete this thing. We want that guy to come and do that for us, but not necessarily spending that top dollar. And I think EVERY PLAYER AROUND THE NFL KNOW, WHEN YOU ARE DEALING WITH THE BALTIMORE RAVENS, DON'T EXPECT THEM TO GET INTO SOME KIND OF SHOOT-OUT AS FAR AS CONTRACT-WISE, BECAUSE THEY'RE NOT GONNA DO IT.
