This played well in the Big 12 for some years but still we never won a league title. Now we are in the best conference and hoping to find guys and develop them is going to need to be supplemented much more with suefire guys if we plan to win divisions in the SEC.
I know we won last year but I think the power teams in the east all being somewhat down or jurt is an outlier in what we should expect.
For me, the bottom line is Pinkel and staff need to find a way to recuit better and create more buzz for Mizzou. Winnng the East and playing for a title last year seems to have already been brushed aside by recruits. I can only think of a couple that have ever mentioned our success last year in an interview. The coaches really should be pushing hard and fast those facts along with the 1st picks and academics to the folks.
