On a local level I love having KU win 8STR8 titles. But I'm no fool. I know that the national perception is that the tourney decides history, not regular season Championships.
IMO the tourney is no crapshoot. KU has had many blunders in the tourney and it's not a good thing for the school.
However when you simply are there every single season in such a high ranking it's very difficult to no come up short from time to time.
