Imagine a spiderweb being weaved fromt he center out. Each character and each chapter and each book just adds another ring to the web which is ever-growing. There are so many storylines yet to come which is what makes these books so fascinating. Everytime you think there is going to be closure and new part of the web gets weaved. Sometimes with people dying, sometimes with people just taken a different course due to circumstance. Eventually as you get on through the books you start seeing how certain things are just sub-plots to an over-arching theme.
