When you are constantly throwing it high, slightly behind, not in stride, to the wrong spot, your receivers are not going to be able to make clean catches.

In 2010, I started noticing that Cassel couldn't hit guys in stride. They never caught the ball with two hands extended in front of their face mask without slowing down or stopping. Why? Because Cassel never put it there. That was the moment I lost faith in him.

I never want to hear about completion percentage. Show me a QB throwing on a crossing route, and I'll tell you immediately if he's accurate or not. Cassel could throw for 70% completion, but he'll never be accurate.
I have been a Cassel hater since well before the trade and brinks truck.

That doesn't mean I will ignore his improvements when I see them.

He threw the majority of his passes Sunday with good zip and accuracy against a very talented defense.
