You will be disapointed almost every year. Last 12 years you have 10 different champions. Your Cardinals are one of the repeat Champions yet that's still not good enough?

I ask again - if they blow this game, how can you not walk away from blowing 3-1 series lead and 2 decent pitching matchups, without feeling wildly disappointed?
That's the thing about these sorts of deals - they don't happen in a vacuum. If you don't make the playoffs, you should be disappointed. If you lose in the NLDS, you almost always had a chance to win it and how can you honestly walk away from your average NLCS loss not thinking that you should have/could have won?
If we lose this game, I will view this season as nothing more than the season where we blew a 3-1 series lead that we never should have lost because the team came out like dogs for 2 straight elimination games and set themselves up against one of the 3 best pitchers in the NL for a win or go home game on the road. Your 'list' becomes irrelevant once the ball is on your racket with an easy chance to win...then you mail it in against Barry !@#$ing Zito and his 84 mph gas.
And what's so damn bad about being disappointed? Without disappointment, there's no ambition.
