You're a saint for putting up with these people. No, you're not just putting up with them. You're TEACHING them. You're like that Bajoran Kai in that early episode of DS9 who gets stranded on a planet amidst undead armies who kill each other relentlessly. Instead of trying to find a way out, you choose to stay on that planet and bring peace to a hopeless and seemingly unfixable situation.
