My gf and I decided 4 years ago to say **** Valentines day and its commercial bullshit and, instead, make a concerted effort to show each other how we feel more often year-round. After all, if you're doing something nice for your s.o. Once a year because someone says you should, then wtf does that say about your relationship? I realize that most girls don't think this way, but I've got a good one. We'll go have dinner usually, but there's no gifts involved. It's just stupid.
