No....I do this every year. I wait until they either send out the reminder that they're going to start charging you or they charge you that first month. Call in and tell them that you can't afford it because they keep jacking up the price. Just remember two things.
1. Don't be an asshole. You'll get better results if you're nice and you explain why you can't afford it.
2. Not all CSRs are the same. I've called in and gotten a CSR that said she would just cancel it for me....no big deal. I've gotten a CSR that gave me the entire thing for free.....AND threw in the movie channels for 6 months. It's all trial and error.
