This isn't really all that funky; the tartness and lactic sourness shine much brighter here. The finish is all tart cherry and lightly browned malt. Each sip reveals different fruits - orange, strawberry, black cherry, kiwi. Yes, plenty of kiwi as the beer warms. This is a beer that defies a concrete write-up."
Nice review and notes on all of the flavors. I think my favorite bit was not really knowing much of what to expect before taking my first sip. Didn't even realize it was infused with blackcurrants until I read your comment. It is probably the closest to the complexity of flavors in a good red wine that I have had in a beer. Really need to keep an eye out for Supplication now.
