Well, despite the seeming lack of interest, I am going to talk a little more about this game. It is pretty incredible. Brutal at times. It doesn't hold your hand. There are many ways to approach how you play the game. Big world with some interesting factions. You recruit your army. It can be small or large. You train their skills by doing. They can lose limbs, permanently. You can buy or craft robotic replacements for these limbs, if the character survived his or her wounds.

You can build a city. Assign jobs to your recruits, like mining or engineering or crafting, and they will continue to do those jobs while you do something else with other characters. Your base will get raided and they will have to fight for their lives.

You can be a theif, a trader, a warrior, a craftsman, or all of the above on one character or spread jobs out between your recruits.

You will get smacked down. You can get eaten by cannibals. Imprisoned. Escape prison. Get bailed out of prison. Be taken as a slave. Escape slavery. Free other slaves.

Become a fanatic for one of the most powerful factions that also happens to be extremely racist. Or you can avoid them as much as possible. Or take the fight to them. It won't be a walk in the park though.

You will get beat down, badly, at the beginning of the game. You will run for your life. You will get better. You may die, but your recruits can live on and you can still keep playing. You can reload a save if that really pisses you off.

It still has a few rough edges. It's nearing the end of its early access, and needs some performance optimization and there is about 1/4 of the map that isn't open yet. It's got a few other kinks that need to be worked out.

But I cannot recommend it enough. And the graphics aren't nearly as dated as I first thought. It certainly isn't cinematic cutscenes, but it's a beautiful world.
