My League 2 teams are competitive.

Anchorage is 1-2 in the Lunar North Division, having scored 61 and given up 63. Our offense is leaning heavily on Lesean McCoy but is getting surprisingly good production out of a receiving corps that features Hines Ward, Andre Roberts, and Devin Hester. Vernon Davis has been a star for us as well.

The Solar Central Division is dominated by teams I'm babysitting.

The St. Louis Spiders share the division lead at 2-1, having scored 57 points and given up 48. Our offense is run-first with Adrian Peterson and Maurice Jones-Drew taking the pressure off QB Kyle Orton. The defense is starring now, though. Despite losing middle presences Eric Berry and Gary Brackett for the season, we've been surprisingly stout with a no-name defense other than Asante Samuel and Dominique Rogers-Cromartie on the corners.

Columbia is 1-2, scoring 67 points and giving up 81. The offense has been effective with Steven Jackson and Pierre Thomas and a strong line fueling a play-action passing game by Ryan Fitzpatrick and a host of good receivers. The problem so far has been defense, where injuries and an unproven or underachieving front seven has posed problems.

Independence is also 1-2, having scored 68 and given up 69. Rookie QB Christian Ponder is playing behind a makeshift offensive line, but gets help from Larry Fitzgerald, Dallas Clark, and Shonn Greene in making things happen. Despite a strong defense led by Tamba Hali, Kevin Williams, Robert Mathis, Cortland Finnegan, and London Fletcher-Baker, the team has struggled keeping opponents out of the end zone, and we haven't figured out the solution yet.
