The catch is the two teams they considered worse were the 06 Colts and last year's Falcons. That Colts team won the Super Bowl and the Falcons were about 5 yards away from getting there.

This isn't college football were we look at Missouri for example and say, "this is fun but we really have no title hopes."
Especially this year, there arent any great teams. Marginal teams are going to get into the postseason this year. Why couldnt we get a bye and a home playoff game and with the defense we have, choke out some team that wouldn't normally be there? Why couldnt that be us?
We aren't talking about winning the lottery here, we are talking about having to play 2 complete games.
Our chances are better this year than they have been since Montana in my estimation, whether you hate our QB or not. A
And the best part is that this is only year 1 of the rebuild.
