I'm on record as absolutely hating the Avengers and have even bothered to see Age of Ulton yet. Thor 2 was garbage, too. Because of the Avengers and Thor 2, I took a pass on Captain America 2 but bought on DVD and didn't even spring for Blu Ray because I expected to be disappointed.
Fortunately, it was excellent, which gave me enough faith to actually go to the theater to see Ant Man, which is my favorite Marvel movie to date, followed by GoG.

I agree with that, but I think he was talking about the most recent two Spidey flicks. Which were much better, but not better than a lot of the movies he listed, IMO.
