First, the Royals are not really strapped for cash. Glass is a lying, worthless mother****er. Even conservative, reasonable analysts like Rany claim that the Royals could easily support an $85M payroll in '13 and a $100M payroll in '14.

Claims otherwise are complete and utter bullshit.
