As I mentioned, I've known several young people who chose suicide over the alternatives available to them. I need to reflect on whether or not the people around them (including parents) indicated at the time that they knew about their emotional problems. At the moment, I don't have a clear memory of that.

I am far from an expert on suicide but I seem to remember seeing this in articles written after bullying. The one thing I am aware of is the shitty parenting. IT never ceases to amaze me the emphasis so many parents have on making money and how little they have on building their child and really knowing them.
