They'll destroy in Japan, and will do very well in the US and Europe, but I would've rather seen a $200 flat price for just the console, or the current package (Wii Sports pack-in) with an extra Wiimote thrown in.
Of everyone I know, I'm the earliest adopter, and for me and a friend to get down on just Wii Sports, I'm going to have to shell out another $40 at minimum for another Wiimote, or about $60 total for the Wiimote and a nunchuck attachment.
As it is now, Zelda isn't enough. I will definitely jump once Mario Galaxy drops, with Nintendo likely creating a new bundle.

I was dissappointed with the launch details myself. Promote it as a family oriented machine, indicate that the two I's in Wii stand for multiplayer, and then include one controller. Plus, every single console has launched for 25,000yen and $199.
