I don't entirely agree with that.
When I talk about "field vision" in earlier posts, I am talking about a guy that is seeing the entire field.
He was making reads.
For instance, that (what was it?) 45 yard TD pass to Stedman Bailey in the Baylor game.
He saw the coverage at the snap and knew that the safeties wouldn't be able to get there to make a play if Bailey beat the corner.
He didn't look in Bailey's direction until he was ready to make that throw.
He read that just after the snap, and came back to it.
That is a great read, and great anticipation.
