Michael Bay and several other action directors could learn a few lessons here. Nobody cares about nonstop CGI action for non stop CGI actions sake. Make the characters, situations and people seem real and the action will have real value and stakes.

Funny thing is, with all the effects shots and battles, the only part that stood out to me as being obviously-CGI was when Captain America swung through midair to get from one part of the engine rotor to another. I thought, "That was bad, he looked like Spiderman" (as the CGI in that film was bad).
