I felt the same way until last night. Given the characteristics you lay out (one team young, the other wise), I would have expected the Spurs to win last night handily. At home, nearly beaten in Game 1 (wake up call), etc. Instead, the Warriors came out and did exactly the same thing they did for the majority of Game 1. They were simply the better team, and better on the Spurs home court.
The Warriors have some nice matchups. Thompson is giving Parker some trouble, at the very least making him work hard for what he gets. Bogut and Ezeli do the same to Duncan. Manu just isn't the same guy he's been in the past. Now, if Manu gets his legs back under him and guys like Green and Neal get hot, this all could change.
