ok, you may have to let it charge for 8+ hours PLUGGED in to get anything back. Obviously you aren't get anywhere until you get at least some activity.
Try this... plug it in overnight (or anything around 8 hours) then hold power and press home(center) button 10 times OR it could be vice versa... hold the home button and press the power button rapidly about 10 times Let us know if there is any response. This may totally reset it though, not sure, so expect to lose data...
