Reading the reaction out there on facebook... there are a LOT of people who believe in the Soren Petro philosophy of TINSTAAP (vs TINSTAAPP with that crucial extra "P" at the end). They are like "Myers who? Who cares, he's just a minor league player, we got two real pitchers! Woohoo, Royals are gonna win in 2013!"

The people who are more informed and obsessed about the math behind the trade are incensed, it'll take casual Royals fans a while to catch up. Unless the Royals get really lucky and this somehow actually works.
