EA has proved that they don't care about anything other than profits and people who buy this shit are just sheep.
The fact of the matter is, they bought themselves a monopoly forcing the competition to close it's doors when they were already making a superior product for a lower price. What good are rights if people can't stand up for them?

Okay, let me ask you a hypothetical question. Scenario: You make video games. Your most popular seller is a game based off the NFL product that you pay royalties for.
Now imagine that the NFL called you and said "We're no longer allowing anyone who pays to use our image, and we're going to auction the rights off to a single exclusive buyer at a much higher rate."
Would you bid on that property in an attempt to obtain it, or are you fundamentally reeruned?
Blame the NFL. EA did what any company would do.
