I have no problem at all with mandatory minimum sentencing for repeat violent offenders.
This is the kind of guy that will someday actually stab a clerk when he's trying to grab some french fries while coked to the gills. People will whine and wail about the senseless tragedy.
OR.....we could take a guy that contributes nothing to society, is a career criminal and hardcore drug addict, and take him the hell out of the general population.
I'm fine with that.
