Bourgeois' only value now is as a pinch-runner, so naturally, on a day when we need arms in the bullpen, we are going to option him. I anticipate Verdugo will go back to AAA after tomorrow. Also - evidently Wil Smith is killing it down there over his last eight starts and could be a viable starter here.
