In 1999, the Colts were 2-2 then won 11 in a row. In 2002, they were 4-4, won four in a row and finished 10-6. In 2004, they were 4-3, won eight in a row and finished 12-4.

As recently as 2008, the Colts started 3-4 and finished 12-4. And in 2010, the final season Manning played with the Colts, they started 2-2 and finished 10-6.
Based on his history, Dave, Manning at 2-3 has got them right where he wants them.
