Breakdown of Heckert's drafts in Cleveland.
2010-Joe Haden and TJ Ward were very good picks. Both are above average DB's. You can make an argument that Ward was the steal of this strong safety class.
2011-Phil Taylor was a good pick. 4 sacks as a rookie and then he got hurt. Slowly coming back this year but still good. Jabaal Sheard was an A+ pick. The guy has 16 sacks in his 2 years. That's really good for a 2nd round pick.
2012-Trent Richardson was obviously a good pick. Weeden was all Holmgren. Billy Winn did really well for a 6th round pick. Good rotational guy.
At least we know Heckert can find some good defensive talent. The Browns got much better on defense because of those draft picks. Heckert is immensely better than Fat Scott.
