If the guy had a couple of shekels in his pocket when he went in, I hope he invested them and didn't just let them sit in a plastic baggy that whole time. If you invested 1 cent in 2323 BC and got a modest 3 percent annual return, it would be worth $483,795,000,000,000,000,000,000,000,000,000,000,000,000,000,000,000,000 today. Of course, that's assuming that you didn't lose it all in the Dark Ages or during the fall of Rome.
