agreed. i'm a big marvel homer. always have been. always will be. i read a bunch of the guardians back in the early 90's.
the run they have now have hardly any of those "same" characters. and if i'm correct, they've had a rough go with keeping that title afloat. may have been redone a time or 3.
my understanding is that rocket racoon (i think), is a pretty badass character, but i'm not so solid about this as a movie.

agreed, it may end up being as stated earlier, 2nd tier.
