Interesting, do you feel that the advice was purposefully crafted to convince Chandra to be more utilitarian in her opening rather than more succinct?
My sense was the writers were trying to get across the sense that Chandra shouldn't bog the jury down with a Magnum Opus off the bat, only they forgot [or never bothered to learn] that the Gettysburg Address is renowned for how economically it lays out it's case.
