Here is something interesting I found in Whitlock's article the other day.

Offensive coordinator Jimmy Raye doesn't seem capable of formulating and operating an offensive game plan that makes sense. Special-teams coach Mike Stock also should be in trouble. KC's special teams were just as miserable as you remember.
And judging by the frustrated press-box phone calls that president/general manager Carl Peterson made to the Chiefs' sideline, Cunningham's Sunday performance will be reviewed harshly, too.
The early third-quarter usage of Moreau and Anders wasn't the only questionable personnel move. Peterson wondered why pass-rush specialists Duane Clemons and Gary Stills sat out Tennessee's game-tying touchdown drive in the fourth quarter.
"Where's Clemons? We need him right now," Peterson barked into the phone.
(Clemons, who played the best game of his professional career, might have been resting his sore hip.)

A few minutes later, Peterson picked up the phone and called KC's sideline again.
"Get the word to Gunther that Gary Stills is available for the pass rush," Peterson said. "He's standing right there available."

In six seasons of covering the Chiefs, I'd never witnessed Peterson get so involved with what was happening on the field during a game.</font> But in six seasons of covering the Chiefs, I'd never seen a coaching staff so in need of help.

Makes you wonder if Peterson will light a fire under this coaching staff this week. I really hope so. Strange how most everyone seems to be on the same page, including Whitlock, except for our coaching staff.
