Andy Reid looking at 3-year deal, limited personnel power
The reports coming out off the desert are beginning to overlap, another sign former Eagles head coach Andy Reid is close to taking the Arizona Cardinals job.
Reid is slated to formally interview with the Cardinals Thursday. But that sounds like a formality.
Media reports are talking about a three-year deal for Reid, with an option for a fourth, that averages $4 million.
Include the $6 million offset owed Reid on the last year of his Eagles contract and the average for three years is around $6 million a year.
It's hard to believe Reid would accept a job without full control over personnel, but that's been reported.
If Reid can get defensive coordinator Ray Horton to stick around it would be a coup. Horton interviewed for the Arizona head coaching job and is supposed to meet with other teams.

Welp, now we're really desperate.
