Do not go back to Misty Grove once you've been there, there is absolutely no way out on consoles.
EDIT: Yes for some reason I decided to save my progress while in Misty Grove (didn't know I was trapped at that moment) and now I have to go back to a much earlier save. |
Check earlier in the thread - if you get stuck somewhere, hit the ` key (over the tab), type "coc whiterun" and hit enter. You will then be deposited outside Whiterun in a central location.
