You're wrong. Not just my opinion, just plain, obvious fact.
WE spend over 40% of all dollars spent in the world on the military. Let me say that again: for every 60 cents spent by
everybody else in teh world combined, we spend about 40 cents.
We spend more on the military now,
in inflation adjusted dollars, than we did during the Cold War.
We also spend more than twice as much on the military as China, and about TEN times more than Russia.

I'll stop there and stop arguing political stuff in this thread as I don't want to be the guy who gets it bounced to DC, but I couldn't let that one pass. The consistent unbelievable ignorance about US military spending is just incredibly annoying.
