Just pouring my first of this Ale (2012 version) -- smooth, rich, un-sweet, slight hint nutty taste. I like beer that is not sweet at all, I don't usually go for Ale, but the store was out of anchor steam, so I grabbed this & the Humming Ale -- which I've never tried either. Guiness -- like, but much smoother of course, not a stout. I'd rank it my favorite ale
