If you have an error code, you can easily figure it out with a google or youtube search. Most repairs aren't that tough to make, and a lot of times it is something silly like a baby sock in a washer drain or something plugged with food/grease.

called the local parts shop and they seem to think the water inlet valve is just going out. I mentioned a high pitched whine when it starts and he was quick to say the valve.
