Sounds like it's going to be an uphill push for Hentges. Ohio State is the key obstacle... Henson will need to impress him with discussion of what they will do with their TEs/how they will use them.
Hentges is more of a traditional TE than a spread TE, which actually should give Mizzou an advantage now. Henson uses his as inline blockers and more pro-style TEs, whereas Myer's best TEs were used as big slot WRs and on that triple option with Tebow (the shovel pass).

You've made a very good point about the different uses of TEs by each offense. Mizzou's can actually make him more pro ready in the traditional sense and the traditional offenses, but Meyer's can give him a bigger "star presence" if that makes sense, and prepare him for the heavy passing teams in the NFL like NE or NO. He has some tough decisions to face.
