Although Flowers has mediocre top-end speed (i.e. over 40yrds), he has ELITE short area quickness and change of direction which are ideal for a slot corner.

nfl combine 10yrd dash: 1.47s
pro-day 20yrd shuttle: 4.08s
pro-day 3-cone drill: 6.72s

for comparison
Jamaal Charles is 1.46, 4.22, 6.80 respectively
Kniles davis: 1.49, 4.38, 6.96
patrick peterson: 1.49, 4.07, 6.58
Darrell Revis: 1.46, 4.08, 6.56
Richard Sherman: 1.58, 4.29, 6.72

Flowers is very physical cb which prevents most receivers from blowing past him (which helps limit his limitations going deep), he also is aggressive against the run, and is instinctive in defending against passes which allows him to play bigger than his size.

And that is why you are not a GM.

Just take a look at the chiefs history of 2nd round picks chosen with multiple GMs and multiple head coaches. most are busts.

its a passing league, and its important to have more than 2 good corners. By the way, what management experience do you have?
