I'd consider this class much stronger than the one we saw in 2015, especially if a couple Juniors declare.
The first round guys would appear to be:
Connor Cook - Michigan State (Sr.)
Christian Hackenberg - Penn State (Jr.)
Jared Goff - California (Jr.)
Trevone Boykin - Texas Christian (Sr.)
Boykin reminds me of a shorter Kaepernick, the rest are more pocket types. Boykin's height is going to be questioned.
Some guys I see as potential day 2 types that could move up with improved seasons and also if Hackenberg and/or Goff don't declare:
Kevin Hogan - Stanford (Sr.)
Cody Kessler - Southern Cal (Sr.)
Jacoby Brissett - NC State (Sr.) - Needs to improve arm strength
Cardale Jones - Ohio State (Sr.) - Has to win the starting job yet.

You think Boykin goes in the first? I don't. I wouldn't hate it if the Chiefs picked him up. But not in the first. If for no other reason than if it's in the first, he'll be expected to start.
Boykin has a ****ing great arm and showed last year that he can stay in the pocket and show patience. He has a LONG way to go and a huge bust potential, but I think he can be really really good. However, if he goes in the first, it won't be to us.
