Then maybe it was the location. In the 80's and before 1992, I used to eat at the Minsky's off of 95th and Antioch. It was great as was the Minsky's off of 63rd and Shawnee Mission Parkway.

In 2001 or so on a visit, I had my parents pick up Minsky's from somewhere in Olathe (or Overland Park - I'm confused as to what's what out there in 135th to 170th land) and it was horrible. Nothing at all like what I used to get 15 years before.
