I get this problem every once in a while, and this also seems to work with the opposite problem (cant get the damn thing out, I'm making my eye red trying to grab it!)

First, its usually because my finger was too wet so I dry it off and try again (contact should always be wet). If it still doesnt work, I put the contact in, then when my finger is still touching my contact and eye, I slightly move my eye, down or to the side, and often I can feel the contact pull off my finger and "settle in". (for the opposite problem when trying to get it out and drying the finger doesnt work, sometimes by having the eye looking in a slightly different direction the contact decides it will cooperate now and come off easier)
