Who knows? Like you've said many times today, they had a lot on their mind. Maybe they didn't ask him, or the people in charge of the locker room maintenance didn't know JC's wife was her cousin.

You simply assumed his tacit approval. Maybe he didn't think to comment on it because he had enough to think about as well, or even notice it, hopefully.
