A few winners here. The 90s for me were all about R&B with some hip hop sprinkled on the side.

Jodeci, R.Kelly, Keith Sweat, Usher, Soul 4 Real, Tevin Campbell, Bobby Brown (basically everyone from New Edition), etc.

Hip hop I was heavily into the funky West Coast stuff. NWA, Ice Cube, Dre, Snoop, The DOC. Of course you can't forget Notorious BIG, 2Pac, Wutang, Bone Thugs. Scarface was pretty dope. I always loved LL Cool J. I really didn't discover Nas and Outkast until the 2000s when I was older. Mase had a nice run, as did the Fugees.
